- Blue Velvet Studio is an art space in Mobile's LoDa downtown district that features an exhibition space and photography studio. We are interested in working with and exhibiting work from local and national artists, and encourage edgy material. BVS can accommodate paintings, photography, mixed media, film/video, sculpture, furniture, fashion, costumes, and performance art. BVS is open to the public during monthly LoDa Art Walks (second Friday of each month) and for special events.
